I had so much fun making this custom art piece for Monique. She doesn’t like insects so she requested a flora-only painting. She mentioned one of her favorite flowers is duifkruid which happened to be one of my favorites as well so I felt very inspired. This piece was a bigger format which really allowed me to get in the painting zone for days. I loved it, and she did as well.

I rapped this piece furoshiki style which is a Japanese gift rap style that uses reusable cloth or fabric to rap any gift. It is not possible for me to do this with every art piece I deliver but now and then I use this because it is sustainable plus I think it looks really special. after she unwrapped it I took it home with me for another use.
